Handing over 6 Great Solidarity houses to poor households in 2024

The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Yen province presented a Solidarity House to Mrs. Ho Da in Ma Gu village, Son Phuoc commune, Son Hoa district.

Each household received 50 million VND in support according to Plan 622/KH-MTTQ-BTT, dated April 22, 2024, of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Yen province, "Supporting the construction of solidarity houses to celebrate the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Yen province, term 2024-2029," with the remaining amount being matching funds contributed by the families and relatives.

Speaking at the house handover ceremony, Mr. La Chi Tung, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Son Hoa district, congratulated the poor households receiving new houses today, and hoped that the families would strive to overcome all difficulties to escape poverty sustainably in the future.

Mr. La Chi Tung also emphasized that, in preparation for the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Phu Yen province, term 2024-2029, the Son Hoa District Fatherland Front Committee decided to care for poor households and policy beneficiary families with difficult housing circumstances. This is a practical activity that contributes to effectively implementing the emulation movement "For the poor, leaving no one behind."

It is known that over the past 5 years, the Son Hoa District Fund for the Poor, with the support of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Yen province and other benefactors, has supported the construction and repair of 448 solidarity houses for poor households, with a total construction value of nearly 20 billion VND, thereby contributing to stabilizing the lives of the people.
