With a serious and responsible spirit, the delegates of the People's Council of Bac Ninh province discussed, gave opinions and voted to pass resolutions on: perfecting the number of members of the committees of the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026; promulgating regulations on protecting State secrets of the Provincial People's Council; allocating public investment capital in 2024 - phase 2. Approving the list of projects to change the purpose of using rice-growing land; land recovery projects for socio -economic development for national and public interests in 2024 in the province; stipulating criteria for establishment, criteria for the number of members of the Security and Order Protection Team and the level of support and compensation for people participating in the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level in the province...
Notably, the Session approved the issuance of regulations on social assistance policies in the province; adjusted the investment policy of the Project "Investment and development of Bac Ninh Industrial College to become a high-quality school by 2025".
In particular, the promulgation of regulations on policies to support teachers, students at vocationaltraining institutions, universities to train high-quality human resources and the semiconductor industry to serve the digital industry in Bac Ninh province in the period of 2024-2030 is the legal basis for implementing support policies in teaching and learning according to high-quality training programs and the semiconductor industry in the period of 2024-2030 in accordance with the development orientation of the province.
Thus, Bac Ninh is the first locality in the country to have a policy to support the teaching and training of high-quality human resources and the semiconductor industry to serve the digital industry.
Speaking at the session, comrade Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Bac Ninh province affirmed that the session had resolved important issues, which are the legal basis for organizing the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, ensuring political security, social order and safety, caring for social security and social welfare in the area.
He requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct all levels, sectors, units and localities to organize implementation so that the policies can soon come into life; continue to closely follow the targets and tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security in 2024 and the practical situation to be proactive in directing and operating socio-economic development.
Units and localities must strengthen discipline and order, promote the role and responsibility of leaders; strengthen management of revenue and expenditure of the budget; urge, inspect and promptly handle difficulties and problems in disbursing public investment capital, associated with improving project quality, completing on schedule and preventing and combating corruption, negativity and waste.
Provincial leaders congratulated the members of the Provincial People's Committee who had just been dismissed to receive new assignments and elected to fill in.
Also in the program, the Session conducted legal procedures and voted to pass resolutions on confirming the results of the dismissal of Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuc, former Director of the Department of Industry and Trade (due to job transfer) as a member of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, term XIX, 2021-2026; confirming the results of the election of additional members of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, term XIX, 2021-2026 for Mr. Nguyen Song Ha, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Luu Bao Trung, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.
