The VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 has concluded with numerous technology solutions showcased, addressing real-world banking challenges and further affirming VPBank's approach to nurturing digital talent through innovative recruitment models.
The VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 - Senior Track final, themed “Hack2Hire: Conquering Technology, Shaping the Future with VPBank,” took place on November 22nd, bringing together over 639 experienced and enthusiastic contestants, representing 138 teams. After nearly three months of competition, 21 teams with 83 participants advanced to the final round, demonstrating the exceptional appeal of this technology competition organized by VPBank in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
VPBank is accelerating AI and Gen AI projects into both internal operations and digital products, creating a foundation for ideas from the Hackathon competition to be applied in practice. Building on this foundation, the VPBank Technology Hackathon 2025 is designed in two consecutive stages to comprehensively utilize its technology workforce. The Junior Track, held earlier this year, is a platform for students and those new to the profession, while the Senior Track expands the difficulty level with more demanding challenges, attracting experienced engineers and fostering healthy competition.
This approach helps VPBank both discover young talent and attract seasoned professionals, creating a continuous flow of human resources for its long-term digital transformation strategy.
A key highlight of the Senior Track is the candidates' professional experience, with 70% of applicants having 2-5 years of experience in information technology and data science . The high registration rate for challenges related to applied AI reflects the technological trends attracting the attention of the engineering community and also represents VPBank's strong investment in its comprehensive digitalization strategy.
Inspiring victories
Doc2Contract emerged as the champion with its AI Real Estate Collateral Drafting System. This solution utilizes AI to automate the process of extracting, verifying, and drafting documents related to real estate collateral – a high-volume and highly accurate operation in banking.

Doc2Contract's solution was highly praised for its coherent implementation, tight and confident presentation flow, and clear demonstration of systems thinking. The demo ran smoothly, showing that the product had been polished to a high standard, from UI/UX to technical logic. The judges were particularly impressed with how the team creatively integrated advanced AWS Gen AI services (including Amazon Bedrock using Claude-3 and Claude-4.5, Amazon Textract, and Amazon Comprehend) withFPT .AI's specialized Vietnamese document processing solution.
This flexible combination demonstrates intelligent thinking in selecting the right technology, achieving over 90% accuracy while reducing contract processing time from days to minutes.
Second prize went to the BK62 team for their Fail & Forward: Embracing Failure with Automated Recovery solution, while Bếp Yêu Thương Digital Platform received third prize for its comprehensive and humane product development.
In the specialized solutions category, awards were given to teams with outstanding strengths in each area: MoE Architect Team received the Trailblazer Innovation Award; Agentity won the Pitch Perfect Award; and Better Version was awarded the Awesome Architecture Award.
In addition to the team award, the organizers also honored 5 individual Hackathon Stars - contestants who demonstrated outstanding abilities throughout the season.
