On the morning of December 10th, swimmers such as Tran Hung Nguyen and Nguyen Quang Thuan competed in the men's 200-meter individual medley qualifying round. Meanwhile, Vo Thi My Tien also participated in the women's 200-meter butterfly qualifying round. The finals are scheduled to take place from 6 PM on the same day.
On the same day, taekwondo also commenced with the poomsae (forms) event. Baseball, 3x3 basketball, boxing, kayaking, and canoeing also competed. The Vietnamese sports delegation's hopes for a gold medal at the SEA Games 33 on December 10th rested on Ju-jitsu, with the participation of Dao Hong Son.
