Report on the results of law enforcement monitoring work in 2025

In 2025, the Department issued and implemented TDTHPL plans in many key areas, promptly disseminated the Provincial People's Committee's directives to specialized departments and affiliated units. Reporting work was fully implemented according to regulations; conditions on organization, staffing, funding and basic facilities met requirements. The Ministry of Justice also conducted an interdisciplinary inspection of law enforcement on handling administrative violations in the field of fisheries, thereby acknowledging the Department's efforts in directing and organizing the implementation of tasks.

In 2025, the Department advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue Decision No. 23/2025/QD-UBND on the Regulations on management of Ca Mau Marine Protected Area; at the same time, it organized many training courses on propaganda on IUU and marine environment protection with hundreds of participants. Notably, from 2021 to 2024, there were no violations of the law on marine environment, showing positive results in management work. The Department advised on the issuance of 03 legal documents under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee, including the Procedure for transferring financial obligation records on land and the Regulations on coordination in handling land procedures. In addition, the Department issued many documents implementing the provisions of the Forestry Law and the Land Law 2024. From 2021 to 2024, the province appraised and submitted to the People's Council for approval of the policy of changing forest use purposes for 16 projects with a total area of 59.21 hectares.

In general, the work of monitoring law enforcement in 2025 of the Department of Agriculture and Environment has achieved many remarkable results, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in all sectors. The shortcomings and limitations pointed out in the report will be the basis for the Department to continue to improve the process, strengthen coordination and improve professional capacity in the coming time. With the determination to innovate and a high sense of responsibility, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will continue to synchronously deploy solutions, ensuring that law enforcement is increasingly systematic, effective and suitable to the development requirements of the province./.
