Developing a learning society in the Agriculture and Environment sector of Ca Mau province by 2025

On December 2, the Department of Agriculture and Environment reported on the implementation results of the Project "Building a learning society" in 2025. This activity demonstrates the deep concern of the Industry for training, fostering and improving the quality of human resources, aiming to build a team of professional civil servants and public employees, meeting the development requirements in the new period.

*Department of Agriculture and Environment organizes training on Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in administrative work*

In 2025, the training and development of cadres continued to be focused on and achieved many positive results. The Department sent 01 civil servant to participate in postgraduate training; 05 civil servants and public employees to attend advanced political theory training courses; 13 civil servants and public employees were sent to study intermediate political theory. In addition, 02 civil servants were trained in State management knowledge at the senior specialist level and 05 civil servants and public employees were trained at the specialist level; 04 civil servants and public employees were given opportunities to participate in leadership and management training courses at the Department level. National Defense - Security training was also focused on with 10 civil servants and public employees belonging to groups 2 and 3 participating in the course as planned. In addition, the Department also sent many civil servants and public employees to participate in professional training, digital transformation and administrative reform courses to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

The leadership, direction and propaganda work on building a learning society has been implemented synchronously. The Department has promptly disseminated plans and directives of the Provincial People's Committee and the Steering Committee to all civil servants and public employees. Propaganda activities have been enhanced through meetings, professional activities and internal communication systems, contributing to raising awareness of the meaning and importance of lifelong learning. Party committees and authorities at all levels also regularly encourage and motivate groups and individuals to actively study, while praising examples of self-study and self-improvement to spread the spirit of learning throughout the industry.

In the coming time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Plan of the Provincial People's Committee and the Steering Committee, and at the same time further promote self-study, online learning, and internet learning. The promotion of the application of information technology and digital training platforms will contribute to creating favorable conditions for civil servants and public employees to practice and improve their qualifications, thereby continuing to build a strong learning society in the whole industry./.
