Insurance proactively checks to compensate customers in apartment fire

The Vietnam Insurance Association said that on the afternoon of September 15, through the local Fatherland Front (Khuong Dinh ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi), this agency represented insurance companies to give 300 million VND to the victims of the mini apartment fire in Khuong Ha to share some of the loss and pain of the affected families.

Currently, the Vietnam Insurance Association is coordinating with insurance companies to speed up related work, in order to promptly resolve insurance benefits for people and property for insured victims, helping customers and their families quickly overcome difficulties after the mini apartment fire in Khuong Ha.

For normal cases, insurance customers will submit a claim for benefits to the company for consideration and settlement according to the provisions of the insurance contract. Particularly with the recent heartbreaking incident, the Vietnam Insurance Association and insurance companies are eager to proactively resolve the benefits for the insured victims as quickly and conveniently as possible to help the victims overcome their losses and stabilize their lives.

“We want to avoid as much as possible cases where victims lose their documents, because they don't remember them yet, or even more painfully - because they die and their relatives don't know they have insurance,” the agency's document clearly states.

At the same time, this agency also issued an official dispatch urging businesses to actively check information to know whether their insurance customers were victims of the fire or not, thereby proactively resolving insurance benefits for customers, helping customers quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
