This activity is part of the Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper's program to donate maps of Vietnam's provincial-level administrative units and maps of Ho Chi Minh City's commune-level administrative units in 2025 to 168 wards, communes, and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City. The aim is to help readers access and visualize in more detail the merger of provinces and cities nationwide, as well as the reorganization of commune-level administrative units in Ho Chi Minh City.

Through this program, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper aims to join hands with localities and the city to best serve the people, as well as strengthen connections and exchanges with the 168 wards, communes, and special zones of Ho Chi Minh City.

Previously, immediately after the National Assembly approved the resolution on the reorganization of provincial-level administrative units in 2025, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper printed 50,200 copies of the Map of Provincial-Level Administrative Units of Vietnam to give to its readers.
From July 7th to 9th, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper conducted three rounds of map donations to wards, communes, and residents of Ho Chi Minh City and the former provinces of Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

After presenting the map to the ward leaders, the delegation went to the Phu My Ward Public Administrative Service Center to give maps to the residents and staff working there. Receiving the new map for the first time, the staff and residents expressed their gratitude and thanked Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.
Comrade Nguyen Doan Tiet Phuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu My Ward Party Committee, expressed his gratitude to the Party Committee and Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper for implementing such a meaningful and practical program. The maps donated by the newspaper will be sent to the Party branches and departments so that cadres can better visualize the new urban landscape of Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, during the donation ceremony, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu My Ward Party Committee also shared some information about the activities of the Party Committee, the People's Council, and other organizations and associations.
