On the evening of May 19, news from Vinh Long Provincial Police said that the unit is coordinating with Binh Minh City Police to investigate a murder and robbery case in Dong Thuan Ward, Binh Minh City.

According to initial information, at around 8:45 a.m. the same day, the manager of HL motel (Dong Binh A hamlet, Dong Thuan ward, Binh Minh town, Vinh Long) was cleaning the room and discovered a male body, without clothes, lying in the bathroom, so he reported it to Dong Thuan ward police.
After receiving the report, Binh Minh City Police in coordination with Vinh Long Province Police went to the scene to investigate the cause of the incident. Police verified that at around 9:00 p.m. on May 18, Mr. NMĐ (26 years old, residing in Hoa Tan Commune, Chau Thanh District, Dong Thap , temporarily residing in Dong Thuan Ward, Binh Minh City) and a strange young man with an unknown address went to the above motel to rent a room. At around 10:30 p.m. the same day, this young man left the motel.
When Mr. D. left his house to go to the motel, he brought with him the following assets: 1 gold ring, 1 mobile phone. The results of the on-site investigation at the location of the incident did not find these assets.
By professional measures, at 4:10 p.m. on May 19, the police force arrested suspect Le Tan Dinh (17 years old, residing in Phu Loc commune, Tam Binh district, Vinh Long, temporarily residing in Dong Thuan ward, Binh Minh town). At the same time, they seized evidence of a mobile phone, property of Mr. D.
At the police station, Dinh initially admitted to the murder and robbery. The case is being further investigated and handled by Vinh Long Provincial Police in accordance with the law.
