This afternoon, November 16th, in Dong Ha City, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province held the closing ceremony of the Volleyball Tournament to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18th, 1930 - 2024). Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung, Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and former Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Dao Manh Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province; and leaders from the Department of Planning and Investment and Quang Tri Newspaper.

According to Mr. Duong Tan Long, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, after a day of exciting and engaging competition, the Volleyball Tournament celebrating the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day concluded successfully. Although it was the first time the tournament was organized, it created a beneficial, attractive, and high-quality playground, leaving many unforgettable impressions on more than 60 athletes and sports enthusiasts. This event provided an opportunity for officials, civil servants, and workers to meet, interact, and strengthen solidarity; contributing to the promotion and development of the sports movement in general and volleyball in particular within the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels and Party-affiliated agencies.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the team from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; the second prize to the team from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lo District; and the third prize to two teams: Quang Tri Newspaper and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gio Linh District.
