The Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days, which lasted from October 18 to 21, were part of a series of activities to summarize 50 years of Ho Chi Minh City literature and arts after the country's reunification, and were an activity to welcome the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Mr. Tran The Thuan informed that the ceremony only concluded the key activities, the cultural and artistic events within the framework of the Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days 2025 will continue to take place until the end of October, early November 2025, in Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Con Dao.
In his speech, Mr. Thuan emphasized: "Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days 2025 is the first event organized on a large scale, fully synthesizing all fields of literature and arts, reflecting the potential and strong creative aspirations of the city's artists in the new development period.
The event has created an open cultural space where artists, the public and visitors meet, enjoy and spread creative inspiration."

The presence of artists from Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Duong at the Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days 2025 has contributed to showing the diversity and uniqueness of art forms in the city.
Mr. Thuan expressed that entering the post-merger development phase, Ho Chi Minh City determined to promote the heritage value and regional identity, connecting the quintessence of Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, and Con Dao in a common creative whole.
Expand domestic and international cooperation, organize more cooperation and exchange activities, and form a domestic and regional network of literary and artistic cooperation.

In his speech, Mr. Tran The Thuan also happily announced the success of the 1st City Party Congress.
He said that at the conference summarizing 50 years of literature and arts in Ho Chi Minh City, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang gave very specific instructions on the goals and tasks of developing the cultural sector and the field of literature and arts.
The Secretary emphasized that culture and art are the spiritual foundation of society and need to be properly invested. The development of literature and art needs to pay special attention to the harmony between traditional and modern values, so that the city's culture is both imbued with national identity and in line with international trends.
Prioritize land funds for public cultural institutions, develop cultural spaces, and contribute to creating an urban appearance of Ho Chi Minh City commensurate with the role and position of a megacity.

The closing ceremony's art program created a youthful, dynamic atmosphere, stirring emotions by blending tradition and modernity.
In particular, the images of artists from Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, and songs about Binh Duong are connected, making people feel warm about the common home of the new Ho Chi Minh City after the merger.

Nghe An Traditional Arts Center brought to the program its own unique color, imbued with the spirit of Nghe An with a series of performances such as Tim ve cau vi giam, Thuong lam mo te, Nghe An trong toi, Nghe An go out to sea .
