Currently, Tuyen Quang City has over 17,000 elderly members participating in activities across 15 branches, 214 sub-branches, and 95 groups. During the period 2019-2024, the city had 83 elderly members serving as members of the Fatherland Front Committee at the commune/ward level; 99 elderly members serving as members of the Veterans Association Executive Committee at the commune/ward level; 111 members serving as Party branch secretaries; 99 members serving as deputy Party branch secretaries; 127 members serving as Party branch executive committee members; 175 members serving as village/neighborhood group leaders and deputy group leaders; and over 900 elderly people participating in other fields such as the Red Cross, the Education Promotion Association, mediation groups, and local security and order groups…

At the conference, the Tuyen Quang City Senior Citizens Association awarded certificates to 80 individuals for their outstanding achievements in building the grassroots political system during the period 2019-2024.
