Binh Dinh is ready for speed races in Thi Nai Bay.

Binh Dinh province is "racing against time" to organize two major international marine sports competitions: the UIM-ABP Aquabike International Jet Ski Race and the UIM F1H20 International Professional Motorboat Race.
The UIM-ABP Aquabike International Jet Ski Race, featuring approximately 70 riders from 30 countries, took place from March 22nd to 24th.
The UIM F1H20 International Professional Powerboat Race, featuring athletes from eight countries around the world , took place from March 29 to 31.
These are two of the world's most expensive and high-speed races, being held for the first time in Vietnam, and are expected to attract hundreds of thousands of locals, domestic and international tourists.
In conjunction with international sporting events, Binh Dinh will host a series of the biggest sports, cultural, culinary, and music festivals ever held in the province.
The stages for a series of international sporting events along Thi Nai Bay have been prepared.
In addition, a "light show" featuring 500 drones will take place in Thi Nai Bay on the night of March 31st, along with a 7-minute low-altitude fireworks display and other innovative international sports and artistic performances...
Infrastructure has been invested in along the edge of Dong Da Park (Quy Nhon City), bordering the waterfront of Thi Nai Bay.The stage, control room, and exhibition area... where the two races, the UIM-ABP Aquabike jet ski race and the UIM F1H20 international professional motorboat race, took place.One lane of Dong Da Street leading to Quy Nhon Port has been closed to facilitate preparations for two major races.Environmental workers were mobilized to arrange potted plants along Dong Da Street to create a scenic setting for major sporting and cultural events.The lanes next to Dong Da Park (Quy Nhon) are being cleaned and prepared for high-speed ocean racing events.Workers and technicians are assembling and completing the construction of the race control building.Techniques for suspending equipment and lighting effects from above.Assembling and completing the outdoor stage to serve tourists watching the race and artistic performances.Numerous light art performances will be showcased throughout the events and festivals."Giving a makeover" to Dong Da Park in preparation for major water sports events.The outdoor stage along Thi Nai Bay is being completed to serve tourists and locals.The inland infrastructure serving the two international motorboat and speedboat races is located adjacent to the coastal city of Quy Nhon.The local authorities have allocated 1 hectare of water surface area in Thi Nai Bay for racers to showcase their skills and compete for prizes.The Dong Da road will be closed off in preparation for races and major events.During this period, Binh Dinh will integrate the organization of many cultural, culinary, musical, and traditional art events and festivals along Thi Nai Bay.
50 food stalls and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products from across the country will be showcased. This event will also include the 2024 Binh Dinh Cultural and Food Festival along Thi Nai Bay. The festival will bring together 38 traditional food stalls from 13 provinces and cities, and one stall from Yong San district, South Korea. In addition, Binh Dinh will also feature 11 characteristic OCOP stalls with participation from 52 units inside and outside the province.
