The activity aims to create a forum for students to exchange and share initiatives, knowledge, and implemented models on environmental protection and climate change response. At the same time, promote the role of students in changing behavior in responding to climate change, protecting the environment, raising awareness, responsibility and actions of students on issues affecting health and life, inspiring and spreading green lifestyle to the community.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan An Viet, Deputy Director of the Department of Students ( Ministry of Education and Training ) shared about the current situation and severe impacts of climate change on Vietnam in recent years, especially the historic floods that occurred in 2025 in many localities across the country, causing serious damage.

Mr. Viet also affirmed that environmental protection and climate change adaptation have become more urgent tasks than ever, in which education is the key to changing awareness and behavior.

The Ministry of Education and Training coordinated to organize the launching ceremony: "Students with a green lifestyle".

The Ministry of Education and Training is integrating educational content on the environment, biodiversity and climate change response into the curriculum at all levels, aiming to equip the young generation with the necessary knowledge and skills to protect themselves and become active communicators in the community.

“Students with a green lifestyle” is an important starting point, encouraging students to actively participate in activities to raise awareness and take practical actions on natural disaster prevention, climate change response and environmental protection.

From there, each child will become a "green ambassador", spreading positive thoughts and good actions to family, school and society.

The representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Vietnam commented: 2025 is a challenging year. Vietnam is constantly facing storms, floods, and complex and severe natural disasters, causing great loss of life and property, seriously affecting the lives and education of children.

These fluctuations remind us that climate change is no longer a distant threat but a present reality. And it is students, the younger generation, who will be most affected in the long term.

Affirming that no one can replace the role of students in shaping a green future, their initiative, creativity and spirit of living life to the fullest will be the greatest driving force to turn ideas into practical actions.
