The implementation of eliminating bad and backward customs has been concretized by the Ha Giang provincial government through Resolution No. 27-NQ/TU, dated May 1, 2022 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, which has positively changed the thinking, awareness, and actions of cadres, party members, and people in eliminating bad customs.

Visiting the two families of Vang Mi Po and Hau Mi No, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh encouraged the family members to be exemplary in taking the lead in eliminating backward customs and practices, and building a civilized lifestyle to set an example. Not only implementing at home, but also actively mobilizing and propagating for relatives and neighbors to follow, the initial difficulties will be accompanied and supported by local authorities at all levels.

Minister Dang Quoc Khanh said that the implementation of eliminating backward customs and practices, building a civilized lifestyle associated with preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic groups in the province is a regular, continuous, effective and sustainable task, on the principle of strictly complying with the Party's directives and resolutions, and the State's policies and laws.

Eliminating backward customs and practices while preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic groups in the province contributes to realizing the goal of improving people's health, stature, and stature, developing tourism , and sustainably reducing poverty.

The Minister hopes that the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels will pay more attention and be closer to the people; promote propaganda and mobilization work, guide people to eliminate backward customs and practices, build a civilized lifestyle along with preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural identities of ethnic groups in the province, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, ensuring political security, social order and building a new lifestyle, new people, creating cultural identities among ethnic groups in Ha Giang.
