Hanoi Capital Command strives to plant 16,000 trees in 2025

Kinhtedothi - On the morning of February 7, the Hanoi Capital Command launched the "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" Spring At Ty 2025.

“Tree Planting Festival to Forever Remember Uncle Ho” is an annual activity of the Hanoi Capital Command, aiming to help officers and soldiers of the unit raise awareness and responsibility in planting trees, clearly see the role of trees in protecting the ecological environment, limiting the negative impacts of climate change; contributing to building a regular barracks landscape and building a “green, clean, beautiful” capital.

Through this activity, the Hanoi Capital Command planted nearly 70,000 trees of all kinds in the 2021-2025 period, exceeding the plan by 103.3%. On average, each year, the Command organized the planting of nearly 14,000 timber, fruit, and shade trees.

In 2025, the Hanoi Capital Command strives to complete the plan to plant and care for nearly 16,000 trees. In addition, the Hanoi Capital Command also closely coordinates with local Party committees and authorities to do a good job of forest care and protection; actively participates in reforesting bare land and hills, preventing and mitigating natural disasters, contributing to economic and social development, strengthening national defense and security in the capital.
