Naval Region 4 Command informs and propagates the situation of sea and islands

On September 20, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the Naval Region 4 Command to organize a conference to inform and propagate the situation of seas and islands in 2023 for 100 delegates representing dignitaries, religions, and prestigious people among ethnic minorities in the area.

At the conference, the reporters of Naval Region 4 introduced topics on the position, role and importance of Vietnam's seas and islands in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, new information on the situation in the East Sea; propagandized historical and legal bases affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the seas and islands over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, the implementation of a number of tasks and solutions to overcome the European Commission's warnings on combating illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing; informed and propagated the Party's viewpoints, policies and laws of the State in resolving maritime disputes and the results of resolving maritime border issues between Vietnam and related countries; fought against the wrong and hostile viewpoints of hostile forces and reactionary organizations that take advantage of the East Sea issue and the relationship between Vietnam and countries related to the East Sea to sabotage...

Thereby, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of dignitaries, religious leaders, and prestigious people in strengthening the military-civilian solidarity relationship, promoting the combined strength of the great national solidarity bloc for the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
