Training and updating knowledge for leaders and managers of Thai Binh province in 2024

On November 29th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee organized a training course to update knowledge for officials under the management of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and provincial-level leaders and managers in 2024.

In his opening remarks at the training course, Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, emphasized: Studying resolutions, researching, and updating knowledge is the responsibility of every cadre and Party member, and also a requirement for cadre work. Recognizing that cadre training and development is a crucial aspect of Party building, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has, in recent years, given special attention to this content, organizing annual training courses to update knowledge for cadres and leaders throughout the province. This helps cadres improve their awareness, ideological stance, broaden their vision, innovate their thinking, and equip them with additional leadership and management skills and methods, thereby enabling them to effectively carry out the tasks of their respective sectors, localities, agencies, and units. The content covered at the training course included: Strategic thinking in planning and organizing the implementation of socio-economic development for current provincial-level leaders and managers; Building and strengthening the Party, reorganizing the organizational structure, and improving the quality of the cadre, coupled with inter-agency oversight, are currently very important topics. In particular, the Central Committee has directed ministries, sectors, and localities to summarize the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the organizational structure of the political system to be streamlined, effective, and efficient," and to urgently implement the reorganization of the organizational structure. This is a very important task, a revolution.

To ensure the training course is as effective as possible, the comrade requested that the trainees arrange their time scientifically to fully participate in all the content and programs. They should uphold a high sense of responsibility, study seriously, and fully grasp the content being conveyed. They should strengthen exchanges and discussions, especially on new issues, difficulties, and obstacles at the local level, in their agencies and units, in order to jointly resolve them. After the training, they are responsible for conveying the thematic content to the cadres and Party members in their respective units; thereby effectively carrying out political tasks; and at the same time, promptly implementing the organizational restructuring according to the Central Committee's directives, successfully organizing the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Professor Dr. Le Minh Thong, member of the Central Theoretical Council, former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee, and former Assistant to the Chairman of the National Assembly, delivered a presentation on: Building and rectifying the Party, reorganizing the organizational structure, and improving the quality of the cadre workforce in conjunction with inter-agency oversight.
