At the sales point of Mr. Nguyen Trong Duc (Tay Ho, Hanoi), dozens of ornamental grapefruit pots, priced from 30 to 50 million VND, are showing off their shapes, waiting for customers to buy.

The characteristic of ornamental grapefruit is that many fruits must be grafted onto the tree, real fruits usually only account for 20-30%, the rest are grafted fruits.

Workers use tape to secure grapefruits to prevent them from falling during transportation.

"A beautiful ornamental grapefruit tree will have three criteria, one is a beautifully shaped tree trunk, two is green, thick leaves, including young and old leaves, and finally many fruits, plump, shiny yellow grapefruits," said Mr. Duc.

Pots of bright yellow grapefruit trees, heavy with fruit and lush with leaves, attract passersby to stop and see.

According to garden owners, ornamental grapefruit is very picky about its players, because it requires players to be both financially stable and have a large space to display.

Although the ornamental grapefruit has just been put on sale, many people have come to see and order them to enjoy Tet early.
