Accelerating the goal of welcoming international tourists during the peak season at the end of the year

Báo Tổ quốcBáo Tổ quốc16/11/2024

(To Quoc) - The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has set a target of welcoming 17-18 million international visitors and 110 million domestic visitors in 2024. Statistics for the past 10 months show that the number of international visitors has reached more than 14.1 million. Thus, in the last 2 months of the year, the tourism industry is still 3.9 million international visitors away from the target. However, this is also the peak season for international tourism, so this target is feasible. Currently, many localities across the country and tourism units and businesses have plans to "speed up" at the end of the year.
