2025 is considered an important pivotal year when the Party Committee, government and people of Ca Mau province have made efforts to overcome common difficulties in the world and domestic situation to achieve comprehensive results.

According to the report at the conference, the province's economic picture continued to improve with an estimated GRDP growth rate of 8%; GRDP per capita reaching 80 million VND; economic structure shifting positively with export turnover reaching 2.6 billion USD (up 6.4%) and budget revenue exceeding 25% of the estimate.

Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of Ca Mau Ho Trung Viet presented the implementation of the Central Resolutions and disseminated and deployed the Provincial Party Committee Resolution.

Regarding social security, the province has completed the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses 5 months earlier than the Central plan, disbursing more than 471 billion VND to build more than 9,500 houses for people. The poverty rate is estimated to decrease sharply to only 0.75% by the end of the year...

Besides the bright colors, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai also frankly pointed out the internal limitations. That is, economic growth is not really sustainable in the face of unpredictable impacts of climate change and natural disasters; the mentality of avoidance, pushing, fear of responsibility... still exists in a number of cadres and civil servants, affecting overall work efficiency; coordination between some agencies and units is sometimes not tight, creating certain barriers to development...

At the same time, the province will urgently review and adjust the general planning in accordance with the new administrative boundaries after the province's merger, in order to fully exploit the potential and advantages of the sea.

In particular, the Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee requested to seriously implement the Action Program to implement the "four pillars" of the Politburo's resolutions (Resolutions 57, 59, 66, 68), and the concluding comments of General Secretary To Lam during the visit on November 19, 2025 at Hon Khoai island cluster, ready to break through, worthy of the position of the southernmost province of the Fatherland in the new era...
