Attending the event were Ms. Nguyen Thi Sang – Deputy Head of the Tax Department of Region XVI, along with representatives from the Department of Industry and Trade and over 200 delegates representing businesses and business households in the province.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Sang stated that Government Decree 70/2025/ND-CP, amending and supplementing several articles of Decree 123/2020/ND-CP on invoices and supporting documents, officially takes effect from June 1, 2025. Accordingly, business households and individuals paying taxes under the lump-sum method, with annual revenue of 1 billion VND or more and operating in the retail sector, providing goods and services directly to consumers, will be required to issue electronic invoices (e-invoices) from their cash registers. This is a preparatory step for larger business households to gradually become familiar with the new tax management method and ensure transparency of revenue.

However, to date, many businesses and household businesses are still facing difficulties in correctly understanding and implementing the new decree. Therefore, at this Businessmen's Coffee program, representatives from the Tax authorities will answer questions from individuals, businesses, and household businesses regarding issues related to tax declaration and fulfillment of tax obligations during business operations in accordance with the law.

At the program, representatives from the Tax Department of Region XVI presented an overview of the new regulations on taxes and invoices for business households according to Decree 70/2025/ND-CP; representatives from VNPT Tay Ninh presented a solution for electronic invoices generated from cash registers, a new feature in Decree 70/2025/ND-CP that business households are very interested in; representatives from MISA Joint Stock Company shared about software solutions supporting business households and small and medium-sized enterprises in accounting, invoicing, and operational management; and representatives from Techcombank Tay Ninh branch presented solutions on funding for business households undergoing digital transformation according to Decree 70/2025/ND-CP.

The program also included a live Q&A session between tax authorities and business households and enterprises regarding electronic invoices for household businesses, individual businesses, and enterprises in specific cases; invoice processing and revenue recording; methods for implementing invoices from cash registers; and technological support for small business households.
