Hoan Kiem Ward (Hanoi City) has just organized for more than 30 households subject to relocation to build a square - park on the east side of Hoan Kiem Lake to visit and introduce resettlement land and houses in Viet Hung Ward and Dong Anh Commune.

The square and park project east of Hoan Kiem Lake has a total area of approximately 2.14 hectares, bordered to the west by Hoan Kiem Lake and Dinh Tien Hoang Street; to the north by existing residential areas; to the east by Ly Thai To Street; and to the south by Tran Nguyen Han Street.
The project is being studied in two phases. In phase 1, the investor will compensate, support, and resettle homeowners and landowners within the 21,000 m2 area to implement the TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) project east of Ho Guom Lake.
The area undergoing renovation east of Hoan Kiem Lake currently has 47 land users, including 12 organizations and agencies and 35 households.
The Hoan Kiem Ward Investment and Infrastructure Project Management Board recently invited residents subject to compensation, support, resettlement, and land clearance for the construction project of the Square and Park in the TOD area east of Hoan Kiem Lake to inspect the land and housing funds for resettlement in Viet Hung Ward and Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi .
Speaking to the press, several households affected by the land clearance for the park east of Hoan Kiem Lake said that relocating to their new homes had been a long-held wish of their families. Living in such a spacious area is a stark contrast to the cramped conditions in the Old Quarter.

The resettlement area has completed its technical infrastructure, is close to the city center, and is fully equipped with amenities to help residents quickly settle into their new lives after relocation.

The electricity and water systems of the resettlement building have been completed, ready to welcome residents of the area cleared for the square east of Hoan Kiem Lake.
