Information from the Department of Home Affairs of Quang Tri province said that, regarding the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, there are hundreds of cases of resignation requests so the locality is having to consider and review.

According to the leader of the Department of Home Affairs, as of 24:00 on February 19, the whole province had 312 cases in 26 agencies, units and localities with applications for leave of absence, of which the state sector had 268 cases and the party sector had 44 cases. In addition, there were 110 cases registered for leave of absence but were not from agencies and units subject to reorganization in the apparatus, public service units not subject to merger, administrative agencies, and vertical agencies in the area.

For example, at the Department of Transport, there were 10/31 cases, of which, the department inspector had 4/5 people; the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee had 6/22 cases; the Department of Public Asset Price Management under the Department of Finance had 3/7 civil servants; the Department of Economic Infrastructure of Gio Linh district had 3/7 cases of resignation... Through initial screening data, for cases with resignation applications that are correct subjects, it is expected that the local budget will support about 55 billion VND.

When many people in a unit register to resign, it will lead to an imbalance, affecting the operation of the apparatus, so the province is considering and reviewing it within 3 months before deciding, at least waiting until the apparatus is arranged, seeing which cases are suitable before agreeing to the wishes.
