For many years, the road under the Hung Loi bridge over the Can Tho river (on the Cai Rang bank) has become a haunting and persistent source of frustration for the people. The road surface is full of potholes and stagnant water, making travel and daily activities of the people extremely difficult.

Ms. Cao Thi Quynh Hoa (70 years old, living in Tan An ward, Can Tho city) said: "The road is degraded and flooded, making it impossible for people on both sides of the road to do business. Once, I fell and injured myself while crossing this road, so every time I have to go through this section, I feel haunted."
It is currently the peak of the rainy season, making this road even more dirty and muddy, making it difficult for people to travel and the risk of traffic accidents is always lurking.

Mr. Huynh Van Nam (45 years old, resident of Tan An Ward) said: "The road has been damaged for a long time but has not been repaired. It is dusty in the sun, and flooded in the rain because there is no drainage. Traveling, transporting goods and trading are also difficult. I hope the road will be repaired soon so that people can travel conveniently and safely."
According to local people, the road has been degraded and damaged for many years. Residents have repeatedly requested repairs and upgrades, but so far the authorities have not resolved the issue.
