Hai Phong seaport is on the list of 100 container ports with the largest cargo throughput in the world by 2025, recently announced by the British magazine Lloyd's List.

The UK's Lloyd's List magazine has just announced the ranking of the 100 container ports with the largest cargo throughput in the world by 2025. Notably, Vietnam has 3 seaports on this list: Ho Chi Minh City Seaport, Hai Phong Seaport and Cai Mep Seaport.

Of which, Hai Phong Seaport ranked 29th in the top 100 with cargo throughput reaching approximately 7.1 million TEU, and ranked second among the three seaports in Vietnam after Ho Chi Minh City Seaport (ranked 22nd in the world, capacity approximately 9.1 million TEU). The remaining seaport in Vietnam on this list is Cai Mep Seaport (ranked 30th with approximately 7 million TEU).
