
According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, currently (October 25th), a cold air mass is moving southward in the North.
Forecasts indicate that around early morning on October 26th, this cold air mass will affect the northeastern region of Vietnam, then the North Central region and some areas in the Northwest and Central Central regions. Northeast winds inland will be strong at level 2-3, and level 3-4 in coastal areas.
In the northern provinces, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An, the weather will remain cold at night and in the morning, with freezing temperatures in mountainous areas. The lowest temperatures during this cold spell in the northern region, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An will generally range from 19-22 degrees Celsius, with some mountainous areas experiencing temperatures below 17 degrees Celsius.
In Hanoi, it will be cold at night and early morning. The lowest temperature during this cold spell will generally be 19-21 degrees Celsius.
At sea, from early morning on October 26th, in the Gulf of Tonkin, the northeast wind gradually strengthened to level 6, gusting to levels 7-8, causing rough seas with waves 1.5-3.5m high; in the northern South China Sea, the northeast wind was strong at level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to levels 8-9, causing very rough seas with waves 3.0-5.0m high.
