On December 4, social networks spread a series of photos of "snow falling" at the Imperial City of Hue. The photos, taken by photographer Kelvin Long, attracted nearly 3,000 likes and more than 100 shares. Many fanpages reposted them, continuing to spread the message on social networks.
Talking to Tri Thuc - Znews , the author said the photo series was taken at Ngo Mon Gate (Hue Imperial City) within the framework of a fashion show of a beauty contest.

According to him, at the end of the program, the organizers used fake snow to create stage effects, making the scene at Hue Imperial Citadel look like it was snowing.
A representative of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center said the beauty pageant organizers used a specialized foaming material, spraying it from the bottom up to create the effect. After the program, the unit cleaned up and restored the landscape to the monument.
This fashion show is part of a series of events responding to National Tourism Year 2025 with the theme "Hue - Ancient Capital, New Opportunities".
Ngo Mon Gate is considered the "heart" of the Hue Monuments Complex. According to the Hue City Department of Tourism, this November, the city's tourism recorded positive growth. The number of visitors to Hue increased by 5.6% compared to the previous month and by 63% compared to the same period last year.
Since the beginning of the year, Hue has welcomed more than 5.8 million visitors, including 1.7 million international visitors. Tourism revenue is estimated at VND11,700 billion , up 63% over the same period.

Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh said the city aims to reach 6.3 million visitors and revenue of about VND13,000 billion in 2025, continuing to play the role of a driving force for local growth after a vibrant year of National Tourism Year.
Mr. Binh affirmed that the National Tourism Year is the opening point for the sustainable development phase of Hue tourism in the coming years.
"We hope this will be an opportunity to affirm Hue's position as a unique cultural and tourist center of Vietnam," said the leader.
