On the evening of December 7, the Vietnam Happiness music gala took place at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hanoi), attracting thousands of locals and tourists.

As a highlight of "Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 - Vietnam Happy Festival", the program conveys the message of sharing, connecting and spreading positive spirit in the community.

With 3 chapters: Happiness is peace - Happiness is spreading - Happiness is love, the music night brings deep love songs, charming comedy performances, and humane stories about humanity, optimism and belief in good things. The audience also participates in many games to learn about happiness.

During the 3 days, "Vietnam Happy Fest 2025 - Vietnam Happy Festival" attracted hundreds of thousands of people and tourists.

This year's festival takes the public to explore 13 experiential spaces around Hoan Kiem Lake, with many highlights such as the mass wedding ceremony of 80 couples with the theme "Couple Day - Love is happiness", the Vietnamese Costume Festival - A Hundred Flowers of Joy, along with many unique cultural and interactive activities.

The “Happy Vietnam” Human Rights Media Award Ceremony is one of the important activities, attracting great attention from the community.

This year is the third time the award has been held online on the Vietnam image promotion platform - Vietnam.vn, to encourage people in the country, the overseas Vietnamese community and international friends to create photos and videos about the country and people of Vietnam using modern digital tools.

Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh said that after 3 years of organization, the award has gone beyond the framework of a traditional photo-video contest to become a national award, attracting nearly 40,000 entries.

Not only limited to the domestic scope, many works are also introduced to international friends through exhibitions and cultural events in Sochi (Russia), Bangkok (Thailand), Venezuela, Australia and Sweden.

This year alone, after more than 4 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received 17,000 photo and video works, an increase of 1.7 times compared to 2024. The Jury selected 36 award-winning works, along with 150 photos and 29 typical videos to display at the exhibition.

In the photo category, the first prize went to the work "Vietnam - The Era of Rising" by author Pham Ngoc Long Thien. The first prize in the video category went to the work "Happy Smiles" by author Luu Minh Khuong.

Through the award, the Organizing Committee wants to convey the message of a Vietnam that is moving strongly and developing comprehensively in many fields: breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation and national digital transformation; promoting international integration; innovating law-making and enforcement; promoting the private economy to develop rapidly, sustainably and effectively.

Brides in their 80s and 70s wore wedding dresses for the first time and held their husbands' hands in a special event. On the morning of December 6, a mass wedding ceremony of 80 couples with the theme "Couple Day - Love is Happiness" took place in Hanoi, witnessed by thousands of residents and tourists.
