The Chiron is a rare car, with only 500 being made. This means that the cost of the car is not cheap, not only when you buy it, but also when you buy the parts. This pair of lights is an example. It is listed on eBay Germany for a whopping 147,000 euros ($164,000), and can be fitted to the Chiron Pur Sport and Chiron Super Sport 300+.
For that amount of money, in the US, you could buy a brand new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS ($164,900).

However, the seller is in Poland and the cost of shipping this pair of lights to other European countries is around more than 1,100 USD; if shipped to the US or Asia, the cost is even higher.
The seller said that although it was used, the pair of lights was in perfect condition and was genuine, with code 5B4941035C 5B4941036C.
The shocking price tag for the headlights is reminiscent of a video listing the cost of owning a Chiron supercar: $10,000 for the headlights, $13,547 for a lock replacement, $8,449 for the tires, $18,317 for the front brake rotors, $6,764 for the front brake pads, $18,317 for the rear brake rotors, $4,024 for the rear brake pads, $185,000 for the transmission, and $11,500 for annual service.
The cost of owning a Veyron supercar is also "huge", according to real estate tycoon Manny Khoshbin. Oil changes of all types cost $25,000, and tire replacement costs $38,000. The rims need to be replaced every 10,000 miles for $50,000.
