"We confirm that this information is completely incorrect. Currently, the club is still operating normally, focusing on training to prepare for the new season and has no plans to change the name or move the headquarters," the representative of the Tam Ky stadium team emphasized.

In the V. League 2024-2025 that just ended at the end of June, after the tense final rounds, Quang Nam Club successfully stayed in the league, ranked 11/14 overall with 5 points more than the relegated team Binh Dinh.

Notably, right after the season ended, there was information that Quang Nam Club would merge with another team, and there was also information that it would transfer both its V-League spot and move its headquarters to another locality.

At the same time, the official fanpage of Quang Nam Club suddenly disappeared, causing further speculation.

Besides the statement confirming that the transfer and merger news was false, Quang Nam Club said that the team's fanpage was only a temporary problem. After 24 hours, the team's admin team regained control and brought the fanpage back to normal operation.

Quang Nam players also took to the field to practice, looking forward to the new season under the command of assistant coach Cao Sy Cuong while head coach Van Sy Son was temporarily absent, due to going to Japan to continue the AFC Pro coaching course.
