Removing Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thuy from the position of Vice Chairwoman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment

On behalf of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh signed and issued Resolution No. 1154/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated August 23, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee approving the resignation of the position of Deputy Chairwoman of the Science , Technology and Environment Committee of the 15th National Assembly.

Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to approve the resignation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thuy from the position of Vice Chairwoman of the Science, Technology and Environment Committee of the 15th National Assembly to retire according to her personal wishes.

The decision also stated that Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thuy will continue to perform her duties as a delegate of the 15th National Assembly and be a member of the 15th Committee on Science, Technology and Environment according to regulations.

This Resolution takes effect from September 1.

The above Resolution is based on the Law on Organization of the National Assembly; Working Regulations of the National Assembly Standing Committee issued together with Resolution No. 29/2022/UBTVQH15; Based on the opinion of the Secretariat in Official Dispatch No. 10971-CV/VPTW dated August 16, 2024 of the Central Office of the Party and considering the proposal of the Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; proposal of the Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee.
