Warning: from the evening and night of July 10 to July 12, the Northern region is likely to experience moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall from 70-150mm, some places over 300mm.
For Thai Nguyen province, due to the influence of the low pressure trough with an axis at about 23-26 degrees North latitude gradually moving down to the Northern region combined with the 3000m wind convergence gradually becoming stronger, from the night of July 9 to July 11, areas in the province will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain. The common rainfall is from 50-100mm, in some places over 150mm, then there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms; during thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Heavy rains pose a high risk of landslides, especially in steep terrain. In addition, heavy rains may be accompanied by thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds that can cause trees to fall, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure, and cause flooding in low-lying areas.
