In particular, the opening ceremony was attended by all the school's staff and teachers, along with 1,512 students, including more than 300 first-grade students.
In a solemn atmosphere, delegates, teachers, and students of Chu Van An Primary School listened to the reading of the letter addressed to the education sector on the occasion of the opening of the 2024-2025 school year from General Secretary and President To Lam.
Speaking at the ceremony, Principal Nguyen Thi Thuy Minh of Chu Van An Primary School said that the 2023-2024 school year was considered a successful year for the school, with stable overall quality, gradually improving quality in key areas, and an increasing number of students receiving awards at the district, city, national, and international levels.
Chu Van An Primary School is among the top-performing primary schools in Tay Ho District, consistently achieving excellent results for many years. Based on promoting democracy, the school has focused on building a united and friendly team of teachers and staff, fostering cooperation and mutual support for progress. Simultaneously, it maintains close ties with the local community, parents, and social organizations to create a healthy educational environment, ensuring the conditions for students' holistic development. From 2013 to 2023, Thuy Khue Ward was recognized as having achieved Level 3 in universal primary education.
At the same time, the quality of the teaching staff has been continuously improved in terms of professional knowledge and pedagogical skills; the facilities have been upgraded to be more spacious and modern... As a result of the emulation campaign, the school was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and all affiliated organizations have excellently fulfilled their tasks.
Teacher Nguyen Thi Thuy Minh said that in the new school year 2024-2025 with the theme "Innovation, quality improvement, solidarity and discipline", the school will continue to carry out well the campaigns, emulation movements, innovate management work, direct teaching and learning in the direction of developing students' qualities and competencies, innovate training work to improve the quality of the team. Along with that, strengthen facilities and modern equipment to maintain the criteria of the school meeting national standards.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the city's leaders, the Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Council, Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, beat the drum to officially open the new school year and presented flowers to congratulate the teachers and students of the school on the new academic year.
