Reporting to the delegation, Mr. Doan Kieu, Chairman of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in Quang Nam province, said that after its establishment, especially after the first congress held at the end of December 2024, the association's work has gradually stabilized, with many programs and plans set out for 2025 and subsequent years.

Quang Nam province currently has over 65,480 martyrs, 32,470 wounded and sick soldiers, 49,000 people who contributed to the revolution, and 33,000 people who participated in the resistance war and were awarded various medals and decorations…

Quang Nam province has 15,360 mothers who have been awarded or posthumously awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother, of which 289 are still alive. Families of policy beneficiaries and those who have rendered meritorious services account for 23% of the province's population.

During a visit to extend New Year greetings to the officials and staff of the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in Quang Nam province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung acknowledged and highly appreciated the initial stable operation of the association.

At the same time, it was stated that the establishment of the association is of paramount importance, as it is an organization that directly participates with the community in activities honoring and paying tribute to martyrs, primarily contributing to resolving concerns in the work of policies for martyrs and their families.

Comrade Le Van Dung expressed his hope that, with a spirit of unity and solidarity, the association's members would continue to play a leading role in supporting the families of martyrs in accessing the current policies and regulations of the Party and the State.

Based on its participation in gathering information, searching for the remains of lost martyrs, and assisting in identifying martyrs' information, the association continues to research and propose solutions to state management agencies and provide social feedback on policy implementation aimed at honoring and showing gratitude to heroic martyrs and their families.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025 (Year of the Snake), on behalf of the provincial leadership, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung and the delegation wished the staff and employees of the Quang Nam Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs to continue to uphold their exemplary role, celebrate the New Year peacefully and happily with their families, and successfully complete their assigned tasks.
