Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien presents gifts to policy families in Quang Tri province

This afternoon, July 7, on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27 (1947 - 2024), a delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien visited and presented gifts to policy families, poor and near-poor households, and families in difficult circumstances in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province. Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Quang Tung; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dao Manh Hung also attended.

At the headquarters of the People's Committee of Trieu Thanh commune, the delegation presented 100 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to policy families, poor households, near-poor households, and families in difficult circumstances in Trieu Phong district.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien expressed his deep gratitude to the families who have made great contributions to the cause of national liberation.

At the same time, he affirmed that the Party and State always pay attention to and take care of the material and spiritual life of policy families, poor and near-poor households and families in difficult circumstances.

The Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels continue to implement the Party's policies and the State's policies and laws to support policy families, poor and near-poor households and families in difficult circumstances to have conditions to improve their lives, actively contributing to the cause of building and protecting the homeland.

Before that, the delegation offered flowers and incense at Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and the Memorial Site of General Secretary Le Duan.

Coming to lay wreaths and offer incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, the delegation expressed deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed to protect the Ancient Citadel during the historic 81-day and night war in 1972.

Visiting, offering flowers and incense at the Memorial Site of General Secretary Le Duan, the delegates reviewed the life, background and glorious revolutionary career of General Secretary Le Duan, and expressed deep gratitude for General Secretary Le Duan's great contributions to the country.
