Preparing to inaugurate and start construction of projects and works to welcome the 14th National Party Congress

On the morning of December 1, at the Government Headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired a meeting with ministries and branches on preparations for the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremonies of large-scale and meaningful projects and works to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to carefully review and select projects and works to organize inauguration and groundbreaking, "which are truly national key projects, with economic and social significance". Preparations for the ceremony also need to be carefully reviewed, ensuring brevity and conciseness but highlighting the meaning and scale of the event, avoiding spreading out and lacking focus, ensuring the program takes place solemnly, coherently and creates a widespread effect.

The Ministry of Construction urgently prepares documents for the event, fully evaluates the results, achievements, difficulties and challenges overcome; emphasizes outstanding contributions, policies to remove and innovate mechanisms; draws lessons and orientations for the next 5-year period. Ministries, branches and localities propose large projects and works, ensuring comprehensive coverage in the following areas: Infrastructure, economy, education, health, energy, agriculture, environment, culture, sports, etc.

Regarding emulation and rewards, the Ministry of Construction coordinates with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Emulation and Rewards Committee and relevant parties to compile a list of worthy works, collectives and individuals, ensuring their symbolic and typical nature... Ministries, branches and localities must take serious and proactive measures to ensure the work is completed before December 19.

Regarding the event script and program, the Ministry of Construction coordinated with Vietnam Television, VNPT, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Science and Technology to develop a detailed script for 34 connecting points, prioritizing the selection of typical works as central connecting points. The event must ensure the spread and comprehensiveness of the works, demonstrating the socio-economic contributions and efforts of state management agencies; at the same time, honoring artists and typical individuals who have contributed to cultural and socio-economic development.
