Accordingly, the Command of Naval Region 3, the working group, and representatives from agencies, units, and organizations nationwide presented meaningful Tet gifts to the military and civilians of Con Co island district from ship 390 via online means.
Colonel Pham Dinh Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of the 3rd Naval Region Command and head of the delegation, expressed regret that the delegation could not reach the island due to bad weather conditions. He wished all officers, soldiers, and people on the island a healthy and prosperous New Year 2025, "enjoying the spring without forgetting our duties," ready to fight, and firmly holding their weapons to protect the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland; he also wished Con Co island district continued new developments in socio-economic aspects and continued consolidation of the all-people national defense posture in conjunction with the people's security posture.
Regarding Radar Station 540, we hope the unit will continue to overcome all difficulties, work together in unity, and successfully complete its tasks of reconnaissance, management, and strict control of targets at sea.
