Final round of the Gia Viễn District Tourism Guide Talent Nurturing Competition

On the evening of April 17th, the People's Committee of Gia Vien district held the final round of the "Nurturing Talents for Tourist Guides" competition in 2024.

Attending the competition were representatives from the Department of Tourism, Gia Vien district, the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Culture and Information, and a large number of local people.

The final round featured six teams from primary and secondary schools in the district. The teams competed in two parts: an introduction and a presentation titled "We are tour guides."

Through various forms of expression such as drama, folk singing, dance, and especially with bilingual Vietnamese-English commentary, the students brought unique and captivating performances to the competition, receiving enthusiastic applause from the large audience.

At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded first prize to the team from Me Town Primary School; two teams from Gia Tien Primary School and Gia Sinh Primary School won second prize; and Gia Thinh A Primary School, Gia Xuan Primary School, and Gia Minh Primary and Secondary School shared third prize.

The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize for the overall team performance to the team from Me Town Primary School.

Through this competition, students gain a better understanding of the culture, history, people, and scenic spots of their homeland. It also provides a valuable platform for them to interact, learn, and showcase their artistic talents and public speaking skills. This, in turn, fosters love for their homeland and national pride in the younger generation.

The competition also aims to discover, nurture, and cultivate talents of "future tour guides," contributing to promoting the nature, people, culture, and history of Ninh Binh to friends both domestically and internationally.
