Leaders of Ca Mau province visit and present gifts to former provincial leaders and families of martyrs.

To commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Hon Khoai Uprising and the Revolutionary Tradition Day of the Party Committee, army and people of Ca Mau province (December 13, 1940 - December 13, 2025); and the 65th anniversary of the sister-province relationship between Ca Mau and Ninh Binh provinces (1960 - 2025), on December 11, a delegation of officials from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province visited and presented gifts to former provincial leaders from various periods and the families of martyrs in the area.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet and the delegation visited Comrade Bui Cong Buu, former Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Comrade Pham Bach Dang, former Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

At each location visited, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet cordially inquired about the health and well-being of the former provincial leaders; and at the same time, acknowledged the contributions of the former provincial leaders to the Provincial Party Committee over the past time.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Huynh Quoc Viet also provided information on the province's socio -economic achievements, especially in the implementation of planning and investment in construction projects within the province. He expressed his hope that former provincial leaders would continue to collaborate, share their experiences, and contribute their opinions to the province's development in the future.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Lu Quang Ngoi, visited Comrade Pham Thanh Tri, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Comrade Pham Thanh Tuoi, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At each location visited, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi and the delegation cordially inquired about the health and well-being of former provincial leaders and their families; and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions that former provincial leaders have made to the construction and development of Ca Mau province over many periods.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Lu Quang Ngoi, expressed his hope that former provincial leaders would continue to pay attention to, monitor, and contribute opinions to the province's leadership, direction, and administration, thereby contributing to the province's further development.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang visited and presented gifts to the relatives of the heroic martyrs of the Hon Khoai uprising in Ly Van Lam Ward.

Accordingly, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang visited and presented gifts to the relatives of martyrs Quach Van Pham and Le Ton Khuyen.

During his visits, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang cordially inquired about the health and well-being of the families of the martyrs; affirming the immense sacrifices of the heroic martyrs of the Hon Khoai uprising, which contributed to upholding the revolutionary and patriotic traditions of the heroic Minh Hai (now Ca Mau) homeland. He also expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions and noble sacrifices of the heroic martyrs in the revolutionary movement of the province in particular and the cause of national liberation and reunification in general.

On behalf of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang presented gifts and wished the relatives of the heroic martyrs continued good health and happiness; encouraging them to continue upholding the heroic revolutionary tradition, educating their children to strive and compete in labor, study, production, and business, contributing to building a more prosperous and beautiful Ca Mau homeland.

Representatives of the families of martyrs expressed their sincere gratitude for the affection and care shown by the Party, the State, and the local government towards policy beneficiary families, wounded soldiers, martyrs, and those who have contributed to the revolution; at the same time, they pledged to continue to uphold the revolutionary traditions of their families, educate their children and grandchildren to live worthy of the sacrifices of their ancestors, and contribute to the overall development of the province.
