Digital transformation is the key to success for Ha Tinh Cooperative, why do you say so?

Ha Tinh province currently has 975 cooperatives, 2,538 cooperative groups, and 3 cooperative unions, with over 107,000 members. The cooperatives operate in a wide range of sectors, covering six main areas: agriculture , industry, handicrafts, trade and services, construction, transportation, environment, people's credit funds, and other services.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung, Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Cooperative Union, stated: "In the current context, the application of information technology and digital transformation is no longer a trend but a mandatory direction. In response to this trend, the Ha Tinh Provincial Cooperative Union has intensified the application of information technology in implementing trade promotion and product consumption activities for cooperatives."

The positive impact of applying digital technology to trade promotion is expected to help cooperatives reach further into the global market, reduce costs while ensuring the effectiveness of trade promotion activities.

"The Provincial Cooperative Union is organizing this forum with the desire to share and connect with other provinces in the consumption of products for cooperatives and cooperative groups in the digital age. We hope to help more cooperative products reach markets outside the province," emphasized Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung, Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Cooperative Union.

Participating in the forum, the Cooperative Alliance of provinces and cities, representatives of departments and agencies in the province, and many cooperatives and cooperative groups shared experiences in trade promotion activities, especially in promoting and selling products on digital platforms.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Linh, Vice President of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, highly appreciated the Ha Tinh Provincial Cooperative Alliance for proactively implementing Program 503 in supporting and guiding cooperatives to participate in many trade promotion activities, both traditional and modern, creating conditions for cooperatives in the province to exchange, link, and cooperate in product consumption.

In addition, the organization conducts diverse trade promotion activities; regularly organizes information networking programs on trade promotion on digital platforms; and supports cooperatives in strengthening the application of high technology in production and processing, especially the application of digital transformation in production and business for cooperatives.

At the forum, the Ha Tinh Cooperative Alliance signed a memorandum of cooperation to connect product consumption with cooperative alliances from 14 provinces and cities nationwide. In addition, three cooperatives in Ha Tinh signed memoranda of cooperation with five cooperatives from other provinces and cities.
