" Hanoi FC is ready to create opportunities for players to compete abroad. Tuan Hai is also very dedicated in training and competition. Currently, we are actively searching and considering options. If a suitable offer comes along, the team will help Tuan Hai fulfill his dream," the CEO of Hanoi FC told Tuoi Tre Online at the team's send-off ceremony on the morning of August 13th.
Also at the ceremony, Pham Tuan Hai said that he has always harbored a desire to compete abroad and will cherish and seize the opportunity when it arises.
"The Hanoi FC management is negotiating with teams in Latvia to arrange for me to go there. Hopefully everything goes smoothly," Tuan Hai said.
The obstacle for Hanoi FC and Tuan Hai is that the European player transfer window will close at the beginning of September. The tight timeframe will significantly impact the negotiation process between the parties.
The V-League 2025-2026 will kick off on August 15th, so if the deal goes through, Tuan Hai could still play for Hanoi FC in the first three rounds before moving to Europe.
Pham Tuan Hai, born in 1998, is one of the talented strikers of Hanoi FC and the Vietnamese national team. He was a hero for the Vietnamese national team at the ASEAN Cup 2024 with his goal against Thailand in the second leg of the final on their opponent's home ground.
Regarding Hanoi FC's preparations for the new season, CEO Nguyen Quoc Tuan also revealed interesting information about Hendrio da Silva. It is highly likely that Hendrio will become a Vietnamese citizen this season if his naturalization application is approved.
"Hanoi FC has registered Hendrio to play as a naturalized player (a Vietnamese player of foreign origin - PV). We are accelerating the naturalization process for him," Mr. Tuan said.
Hanoi's goal this season is to reclaim the V-League and National Cup titles, to recreate the image of the most traditional powerhouse in Vietnamese professional football.

The launch ceremony for the 2025-2026 season of Hanoi FC is a particularly significant event, marking the beginning of a series of activities leading up to the 20th anniversary of the capital's football team (2006-2026).
Over the past 19 years, Hanoi FC has won 6 V-League championships (2010, 2013, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2022), 3 National Cups (2019, 2020, 2022), 5 National Super Cups (2010, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022), and has represented Vietnam numerous times in the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup, bringing the image of Hanoi football to the international stage.
Hanoi FC is also a training ground for many national team players such as Van Quyet, Duy Manh, Hung Dung, Thanh Chung, etc., contributing to the success of Vietnamese football in regional and continental competitions, such as the runner-up title at the 2018 U23 Asian Championship, gold medals at the 31st and 33rd SEA Games, and the AFF Cup championship.
Furthermore, Hanoi FC is also highly regarded for its youth training system, which plays a crucial role in discovering and nurturing young talents for Vietnamese football.
