(CT) - According to the Ministry of Finance, in the first 7 months of 2025, domestic revenue reached more than 1.36 trillion VND, equal to 81.7% of the estimate and increased by 31.6% over the same period in 2024. Notably, 24/34 localities had domestic revenue progress reaching over 68% of the estimate; 33/34 localities recorded revenue growth over the same period last year. In addition, policies to delay, reduce, and extend taxes, fees, charges, and land rents continue to be implemented to support people and businesses. Accordingly, by the end of July 2025, about 171,700 billion VND has been implemented, including: tax and fee reduction of about 60,900 billion VND, extension of about 110,800 billion VND.

The Ministry of Finance continues to tighten tax management, combat tax evasion and fraud, and promote the application of electronic invoices to enhance transparency; simultaneously promoting digital transformation in tax management, applying information technology to process data and automate monitoring; expanding the tax base, especially increasing revenue from e-commerce and new economic sectors, along with researching and perfecting a suitable legal framework.

The Ministry of Finance continues to reform administrative procedures, creating maximum convenience for businesses, combining appropriate tax deferral and reduction policies to help businesses recover production and business activities; and closely cooperates between sectors and localities to effectively coordinate in managing and collecting state budget revenue.
