I'm considering a career in electric vehicles but I'm worried about job opportunities. I'd appreciate any advice.
I've just finished 11th grade and am about to enter 12th grade. I plan to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering - Automotive Engineering because I'm passionate about mechanical movements, machine parts, and mechanics, and I feel I'm quite suited to this field. My father also wants me to study Automotive Engineering. If I do, I'd like to specialize in Automotive Electrical Engineering as well, given the future development of electric vehicles.
I've done some research and found that very few universities offer purely automotive electrical engineering programs. I'm wondering if a degree in Automotive Engineering would still allow me to work in the electric vehicle sector? I'm proficient in Math, Physics, and English, and I'll be applying to universities like Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education and Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry using this combination.
I hope that those of you in the industry can share more information about current and future job positions and opportunities in the electric vehicle industry so that I can make the right decision.
