Mr. Bui Van Cau's family is living in a dilapidated house that is unsafe during the rainy and stormy season. After conducting a site survey, the city police proposed providing financial assistance for house repairs and have raised 120 million VND through fundraising efforts.
According to the Can Tho City Police, the program to build and repair houses for members of the City's Association of Former Public Security Officers in difficult circumstances not only demonstrates the spirit of mutual support and compassion, but also expresses profound gratitude to veteran police officers who have made many contributions to the cause of protecting the security and order of the homeland and the country. The project is also a meaningful activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd, the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Police (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for Protecting National Security (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).
