The victim has been identified as VNK V. The incident occurred in April 2024, when she was in class 7A3 at the school. In May 2024, her family submitted an application to transfer her to a school in Dong Nai province , citing a change of residence.

The group of teenagers who committed the violence were not students of the school. However, among the witnesses was PNYN, who is currently a 7th-grade student at the school.

It is noteworthy that the school was not informed about this incident at the time it occurred. Currently, the school is actively cooperating with the Binh Nham Ward Police (where the incident took place) and the Lai Thieu Ward Police to clarify the matter and verify the identities of those involved.

According to the leaders of Binh Nham Ward People's Committee, immediately after receiving the information, the local authorities directed relevant agencies to investigate. However, at present, the whereabouts of the group of teenagers who caused the incident have not been clearly identified. The police are continuing their investigation.

Previously, on November 28th, social media shared a video showing a group of teenagers (around 10 or more) surrounding V. while 3-4 of them brutally beat him. Despite the victim's repeated pleas, the group did not stop, even resorting to threats and provocative behavior.

Ms. Ton Thi P (V.'s mother) said that her daughter didn't mention being beaten, but only asked to transfer schools back to her hometown in Dong Nai to continue her studies. Seeing her daughter's wish, the family quit their jobs in Binh Duong and moved back to Dong Nai to live.

Around October 2024, noticing their child was constantly fearful, the family became suspicious. Checking their child's phone, they discovered a video of the child being beaten and threatening messages, indicating that the violence would continue this December.

To protect her child, Ms. P. reported the incident to the Binh Nham Ward Police Station in Thuan An City, where the incident occurred.
