Announcing the personnel and headquarters of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee, term 2022-2027 after the merger

Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tuyen Quang province presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tuyen Quang province.

Attending the event were leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; the Provincial Police and monks, nuns and Buddhists in the province.

Pursuant to Circular No. 258/TT-HDTS dated June 12, 2025 of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha on the arrangement of the Executive Boards of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha at the provincial and municipal levels for the 2022-2027 term after the National Assembly issued a Resolution on the arrangement of provincial administrative units in 2025; Decision No. 305/QD-HDTS dated June 30, 2025 of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tuyen Quang province (new) for the 2022-2027 term, accordingly, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tuyen Quang province was established on the basis of merging the two Executive Boards of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces.

Based on the nomination of the collective and the approval of the Central Committee of the Buddhist Sangha, Most Venerable Thich Gia Quang was appointed to hold the position of Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tuyen Quang province (new), term 2022-2027; Most Venerable Thich Nguyen Toan, member of the Executive Council, held the position of Deputy Head of the Committee, concurrently Chief Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province; Most Venerable Thich Thanh Phuc, member of the Executive Council, held the position of Deputy Head of the Committee, concurrently Chief Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province. The Executive Committee of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha also assigned 24 Standing Committee members and 43 Committee members to be in charge of specific areas.

The conference also announced the headquarters of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Tuyen Quang province, located at An Vinh Pagoda, No. 432, Pham Van Dong Street, Group 5, An Tuong Ward, Tuyen Quang Province; Representative Office of Thien An Pagoda, Village 14, Bac Quang Commune, Tuyen Quang Province.
