On June 29th, a video circulated on social media showing two traffic police officers driving a patrol car to escort a pregnant woman to the hospital for emergency treatment.
The incident occurred at 6:30 AM on June 29th. The two officers appearing in the video are Captain Phung Duc Thang and Captain Nguyen Thanh Cong, both from the Hang Xanh Traffic Police Team, Traffic Police Department (PC08) of the Ho Chi Minh City Police.

On the morning of the same day, two officers were assigned to reinforce traffic safety and order at the intersection of Nguyen Binh Khiem and Nguyen Dinh Chieu streets (Da Kao ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), in preparation for the launch ceremony of the force participating in protecting security and order at the local level.
While on duty, Captain Thang and Cong received a request for assistance from a car driver. The driver rolled down his windshield, said there was a pregnant woman in his car about to give birth, and asked the traffic police to guide him to Tu Du Hospital for emergency treatment.
At that moment, the two officers quickly activated their sirens and flashing lights, clearing the way for the car to reach the hospital in just a few minutes, after which they both returned to their duties.
The clip quickly went viral on social media, with many people praising the two soldiers' commendable actions.
