Nam Tra My voters are interested in planning 3 types of forests

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tien - Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council informed about the results of the 24th Session of the 10th Provincial People's Council; provided an overview of the socio -economic situation, national defense - security in the province in the first 6 months of 2024, and some key tasks in the last 6 months of the year.

Expressing their excitement at the results achieved, voters also made many recommendations directly related to people's lives. Voter Nguyen Thanh Som (village 2, Tra Van commune) suggested paying attention to investing in forestry roads, supporting community houses to avoid storms, arranging residents, determining boundaries between communes, avoiding overlaps so that people can stabilize their farming.

According to Mr. Som, the current planning of 3 types of forests has a significant impact on people's lives and production, because the land that people have been using for production for many years is located in the protected forest area, leading to people being unable to continue farming.

Mr. Pham Quang Huong (Nam Tra My Department of Education and Training) pointed out the current situation of teachers in Tra Mai commune changing jobs and quitting their jobs because they are no longer supported like other mountainous communes, leading to a shortage of teachers. Mr. Huong proposed solutions to retain and attract human resources in mountainous communes recognized as new rural areas.

There were 13 opinions raised by voters that were answered on the spot by the functional departments of Nam Tra My district. Notably, the implementation of the planning of 3 types of forests in the district is the most notable. Accordingly, Nam Tra My district requested that people need to determine and prove the area of ​​production land, have solutions for regular cultivation to ensure efficiency; avoid confusion for the functional departments in measuring and determining forest land. Ensure both preserving and developing forests and creating conditions for people to create livelihoods under the forest canopy.

The delegation of the Provincial People's Council also answered voters' questions and recommendations on cultural preservation and implementation of national target programs... Regarding recommendations beyond the level, the delegation said it would accept and recommend the Provincial People's Council to consider and resolve them.
