National art photography contest "Fatherland on the shore": Quang Ninh has 1 author winning First Prize

On the evening of October 16, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission presided over and coordinated with the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ministry of Public Security; Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to organize the award ceremony of the 3rd National Art Photography Contest and Exhibition "Fatherland on the Shore of Waves" in 2025.

Launched from March 2025 to July 2025, the contest received 15,770 photo entries from 3,514 authors from 34 provinces and cities nationwide.

The photos vividly depict the natural beauty and people of the sea and islands through unique perspectives and emotional moments; at the same time, they honor the spirit of work, creativity, and will to rise of the people, along with efforts in preserving and protecting sovereignty , developing the socio-economy, and strengthening national defense and security.

The jury selected 150 outstanding works to introduce at the Exhibition, of which 22 best works were awarded prizes.

Two first prizes were awarded to the single photos "Under the shadow of the national flag" by Nguyen Viet Hoang Long (Quang Ninh) and "Bustling anchovy season" by Nguyen Khac Hao ( Hung Yen ).

In addition, Quang Ninh also has author Duong Van Toan awarded the Encouragement Prize with the photo series "Military Semester" and 11 other authors from Quang Ninh have photos on exhibition.

On this occasion, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee was also honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department for its outstanding achievements in coordinating the implementation of the Contest.
